Robert Lorey Fontenot, on Friday July 29, 2005 at River Regions Hospice. Age 86 years. Beloved husband of Rita Ernst Fontenot.

Son of the late Joseph B. Fontenot and the late Eunice Lightfoot Fontenot. Father of Judy Fontenot Ridge. Father- in-law of Michael Joseph Ridge. Grandfather of Christine R. Quebedeaux and Lorey R. Delap. Great-grandfather of Adam M. Quebedeaux. Brother of Dorothy Fontenot Gardner and the late Carl Fontenot.

A native of Beaver Creek, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA.

Mr. Fontenot was a retired Electrician with Local Union #130. He served in the U.S. Navy with the Seabees during World War II. He was a member of the Westside Amateur Radio Club with call letters WB5ADU.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the IBEW Local #130; employees of NOPSI and members of the Westside Amateur Radio Club are invited to attend funeral services on Monday, August 1, 2005 at 1:00 PM at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment will follow services in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
