Rush Springs: Mac Daniel Vincent, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Marlow, OK.

Funeral Services will be held at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel. Burial will be in the Hydro Masonic Cemetery in Hydro under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Mac was born Wednesday, September 29, 1926 in Maulden, AR, to Mac Daniel Vincent Sr. and Myrtle (Heron) Vincent. He was a long-time resident of Rush Springs and a major support of the Rush Springs Public School. Mac married the love of his life, Margaret Ann Boone in Durant on June 10, 1958; they were married for 39 wonderful years before Margaret Ann's passing on October 8, 1997. Mac retired from the Rush Springs Public Schools as the High School Principal after more than 28 years. He had also served in the United States Army in World War II. Mac was a long-time member of the Rush Springs Lions Club, Grady County Teacher Organization, Ham Radio Club, and the Rush Springs Watermelon Committee.

Survivors include a brother, Boyd Vincent and wife Carolyn, a sister, Virginia Cousino and husband Fred of Hudsonville, MI, 3 nieces, Sherry Bava and husband Rich of Hudsonville, MI, Cindy Brown and husband Bob, Nicole Claybough and husband Bill, and 2 nephews, Scott Vincent and wife Lucy of Rapid City, SD, Christopher Vincent and wife Alisa, as well as many great friends from the Rush Springs Community.

Along with his wife, Mac was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Lloyd Vincent, Don Vincent.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Lions Club Members.
