Paul Daniel Ciardi aka .Cheech., age 73 of Brick, NJ died on Wednesday, 8/30/17 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Marlboro and Monroe Twp. before moving to his dream home in Brick last April. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving his country in the US Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant. He was employed for many years with Verizon in New York City before retiring as Vice President in 1995. He also worked as a Senior Level Consultant for Lucent among other fortune 500 companies throughout his illustrious career. He was an avid HAMM Radio Operator and a Lionel Train enthusiast. He considered himself, .A Jack of all trades but a Master of none.. He is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Margie Miceli-Ciardi; two sons, Paul C. Ciardi and his wife, Katherine of Palm Coast, FL and Peter Caterinicchia and his wife, Linda of Bridgewater, NJ; two daughters, Fran Unglert and her husband, Drew of Monroe Twp. And Diana M. Petriello and her husband, Tony of Manalapan, NJ; nine grandchildren, Anthony, Alexandra, Gianna, Rebecca, Peter, Matthew, Robby, Dylan and Gabriella. Friends may call on Thursday, 4-8 PM at Herbertsville Colonial Funeral Home . 1045 Sally Ike Rd. Brick, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 1st at 10:00 AM at The Church of the Epiphany in Brick, NJ. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Brielle, NJ.
