W8KSR - Johathan T. Hodgin

Jonathan T. Hodgin, 61, died at a local hospital September 15, 1969. He had been a resident of the Lansing area for 42 years, coming from Brighton.

He was vice president of Commercial Blueprint Service. Radio Call No. W8KSR. DX Century Club, Central Michigan's Amateur Radio Club. Greater Lansing DX Group. He attended Hillsdale College, Hillsdale and Houghton Colege at Houghton, N.Y. He was employed at Oldsmobile for 40 years. retiring this past January. He was a member of the Olds Quarter Century Club.

Surviving are his wife, Corabel; two sons, Jonathan T. Hodgin Jr. and Richard A. Hodgin, both of Lansing; one daughter, Mrs. Magene Telotte of Troy; six grandchildren: two brothers, Mendel of Brighton and Daniel G. of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Devol of Chaatardur, India and Mrs. Elsie Eyler of Owosso.

Religious service will be conducted by Rev. Kenneth Eyler of the New Haven Wesleyan Church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel with interment in Deepdale Memorial Pall Bearers are Richard W. Wiley, Jack L. Sutton, Marvin V. Main, Richard J. Hulfmann, James L. Dyer and William F. Sawyer Jr.
