Wilbur D. Fulton, 93, of Westminster, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at Carroll Lutheran Village. Born April 17, 1918, in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was the son of the late Nannie and Thomas P. Fulton. He was the husband of Pearl Fulton.

He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He was a retired engineer from AT&T, and throughout his life he was an active volunteer for communication services, including emergency services.

He was a ham radio operator, call letters W2SE.

He had been a resident of Carroll Lutheran Village for the past nine years.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Paul Fulton and Mary Fulton; grandchildren Ryan Quintero and husband Gustavo, Coleen Fulton and Killian Fulton; and a great-grandchild, Aiden Quintero.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the memorial service, 11 am Wednesday at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster.
