Born in The Hague, Netherlands, Eddy graduated from the Netherlands Radio College, 1942. He married Lena de Rood November 1946 who predeceased him September 1998. He immigrated to Canada in April 1957 and worked many years for Computing Devices of Canada; National Research Council, Shirley's Bay, and Telesat Canada where he was Chief Satellite Controller. He was lovingly taken care of by Dinaz (and the late Jehangir) Balsara and family. Survived by sons Fred and Ron; grandchildren Angelina and Jeremy; and one great-grandchild, Maeve.
Funeral service will be held at the:
Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes
3440 Richmond Road, Nepean
on Wednesday at 11 am
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian 'Feed the Children' would be appreciated.
