Cam was born in Chatham on November 20, 1919. Beloved husband of Phyllis. Loving father of Patricia Anne and husband Jean-Maurice Bilanger of Pain Court, John Cameron and wife Martha Burrows of Windsor. Son of the late William Henry Burrows and Adelaide Cameron. Cherished Glump (grandpa) of Paul, Joel (Shawna), Jason (Barbara) and Julian (Andrea) Bïnger, Lori Ann (Bïnger) and Paul Gunn, Shelley (Burrows) and Don Sparks, Jeff (Martina), Brad (Theresa), Adelaide and McKenzie Burrows and great-grandpa Glump of Kiefer, Keely, Jesse, Carly, Nathan, Laken, Alexander, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily, Colin and Ava. Dear brother of Harold and wife Audrey Burrows of Markham and George and wife Marion Burrows of Windsor.

Cam retired from Canada Customs in 1980. Cam was a veteran of WWII serving with the R.C.C.S. 1st Division (1939-1944) wounded in 1943 (first Canadian wounded in the Canadian invasion of Sicily). He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594, Mocha Shrine Club London, Moramos Shrine Club Windsor and the Windsor Amateur Radio Club.
