Member Silent Key and Our Living Heritage web pages

In 2003 Jeff, WA4AW, ask if there was some way to memorialize his 'Elmer', Manny, W4SS, who had just become a SK.

Manny is the first of 1,914 SK pages that currently are on the QCWA website. Manny's SK page is at W4SS

As other SK pages were added, It didn't take long to discover that many obituaries either do not exist or are very incomplete, they don't include a picture and usually not much on a Ham Radio experience.

So I started the 'Our Living Heritage' pages (to gather more info and pictures prior to our members becoming SKs). They number 2,400.

A picture of the member is central in creating either type of page although there are a few that don't include one.

Many pages on www.qcwa.org, where a members call is displayed, it is a link to their bio/obit page.

I like to include pictures of you, your shack, mobile rig(s), antenna farms, scans of QSL cards and a bio that can be as short or as involved as you want to make it. My Heritage page is at NØUF
