TIMOTHY EVERINGHAM OBITUARY

Timothy B Everingham March 9, 1959 - January 6, 2022 La Mesa Timothy B. Everingham passed away on January 6, 2022. He was born in San Diego on March 9, 1959, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Point Loma High School where he was active in the NJROTC program.

Timothy graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Information Systems. He was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society. After college, he worked in the auditing department of a Big Five accounting firm and later established a consulting firm focusing on project and program management.

He spent considerable time as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Services, including Emergency Management. He also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.

Timothy was active in numerous computer and amateur radio organizations. He was the past chair of the Los Angeles Chapter of the International Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques. He was also a former president of the San Diego Computer Society and a member of the North Orange County Computer Club.

As a member of the National Association for Amateur Radio, he was devoted to amateur radio activities throughout the Southwest and locally with the Lakeside Amateur Radio Club. He enjoyed deploying mobile rigs with multiple antennas to reach other amateur radio operators. His ham radio handle was N6CUX.

Timothy was a devout Christian attending The Rock and the Foothills Christian Church. He loved long hikes in our local mountains.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Jean Everingham. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Ustin, and brother, Ken Everingham.
