Retired from US Air Force Reserve on July 4th, 1997. Spent 20 years in military service, starting out in the US Navy, as a Radioman aboard the USS Robert A. Owens, DD-827. Participated in the Gitmo Cuban Missile Crisis of 1963, and two Med. Cruises, plus involuntarily extended as participant in the Vietnam War in 1966.

Took an 11 year break in service and used my GI Bill to go to college to obtain a Business Degree.

Worked for the 37th Aero Medical Evac Group, and participated in the Desert Shield/Desert Storm theater in the Air Force Reserves, 1990-91. Did this until my retirement in 1997.

Worked for US Postal Service, in Orlando, Fl. in Administrative Operations, for a total of 25 yrs, counting my Military Service. Retired on Jan 31, 2002.

I became a Ham on Aug 16th, 1988. At my home qth Ii have a Rohn 25 tower in the back yard up at 94ft. My qth is located in Deltona, FL, which is about 36 miles NE of Orlando, Fl.

Prior GA Pilot flying out of Sanford,Fl. (KSFB).

My wife, (YL) just recently became a Ham, as of March 2010. Her callsign is now N4GRR and now holds a General Class License as of June 2015.

I feel very priviledged to have a wife of 33 years who appreciates Amatuer Radio as much as I do.

Just recently got involved with 6 meter SSB. Installed a Yagi, Cushcraft 5 element beam, up at 38' for that band. New band for me and having fun with it.
