We are members of Pinehurst CC and live on the 9th hole of Pinehurst #6 in Pinehurst, NC.

Ham since 1964. Former call signs WB6MWY, W6MWY and WU6C.

Married to Pam for 31 years. My late father was AC6TO Extra Class (formerly WB6HVA) SK 2014. Mom is still W6ADB (94 years old and doing great). My brother-in-law Doug Munday is W7DRM (formerly WB6NQC) Extra Class and my cousin is Tom Dixon K5AX Extra Class and FOC dude.

I work mostly CW and an Extra class amateur licensed in 1964. QCWA 50 plus years continuously licensed.

Reserve retirement US Coast Guard (1966 thru 1992). Radioman 1st Class while on active duty, then after graduating from college commissioned as an Ensign (O-1). Retired as Commander (O-5). I operated while a crew member of the Coast Guard Icebreaker Burton Island 1967/1968 during Operation Deep Freeze from Antarctica as KC4USD in the McMurdo Sound and Bird Station areas. Duty stations include USCG Station Morro Bay, Monterey Bay, 2nd District Comm Station St. Louis, MO and MSO San Francisco, where I was the reserve Commanding Officer until retirement.
