Chapter 63

My normal operating schedule was to check in on the Ham Butchers Net at 12:05pm Central Standard Time on 7.280 daily. ( Remember Wesley KD4NK sk ). Now, I check in with The Breakfast Club on 3.973 anywhere from 4am untill 8am CST, then off to the Salvation Army Net on 3.903 at 8am CST. Then at 12 noon, the FMCA Net on 14.3075, after that at 12:30pm on the Central States Traffic Net/Kadiddlehoppers at 7.2535. And you will find me on 7.265 at 7pm CDT checking into the RV Radio Network. Most every night look for me on 3.916 from 7:30pm or so until 10:30pm Central Standard Time. On Saturday mornings, look for me on the Frisco Net on 3.922 starting at 9:00am CST.

I am a member of the OKlahoma DX Association - OKDXA, along with the FMCA Amateur Radio Club #F212950, Kadiddlehoppers #11274, Breakfast Club #3441, Midwest Country Cousins #1263, OMISS #7261, Digital Modes Club #3770, RV Radio Network #1056, SouthCars Net #10760, TenTen Internatioal #71181, The Freewheelers Net #1425, and I also hold a ARRL WAS award, along with being a W5YI Volunteer Examiner.

I have been listening to HAM radio since the late 50's and like so many others, first was on 11 meters (back when you had a license issued from the FCC), and then after a lot of theory and CW practice, I earned my HAM ticket in 1991.

I retired from the Automotive Field ( GM Dealer Parts Department and Aftermarket Parts ) after 42 years in 2010, so now maybe I will be able to get more radio time in, either at our Lake House on Grand Lake or from the Home QTH, or from a Campground in the Motorhome. And I hope I will have some time to do some good ole crappie fishing and I'm going to "try" some fly fishing for trout too.

Hope to hear you in some of the " DX pileups" or see you on the "Waterfall" or maybe a "Rag Chew" on one of the bands !

You can QSL me Direct, or thru the Bureau.

73 for now !

Bob
