Jack Buzon, 78, of West Deer Township, passed away Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at his residence. He was born Aug. 16, 1943, in Baden, son of the late Joseph "Buzz" and Marion "Sis" (Ries) Buzon. Jack was a veteran of the Air Force, where he served as a sergeant in Air Sea Rescue. After the service, he worked in electronics repair and for the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor. Jack was an amateur radio operator, HAM call sign KA3HPM. He was past president of Skyview Radio Club, long time member and president of Breeze Shooters Radio Club, American Legion, Bakerstown and Rosedale Sportsman's Club. Jack was very active in the refurbishment of the radio room on the USS Reqin, located at the Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Diane C. (Boles) Buzon; cherished daughter, Kristin (Cameron) Buzon-Stover, of Richland Township; granddaughter and best buddy, Isabelle Stover; sister, Jayne Merks, of McKees Rocks; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was the godfather of Kenneth Seitz and Kimberly Corrado.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and John "Al" Buzon; and sister, Joanne Eckels.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at ADAM SIEMIANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME,179 Starr Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, PA 15076. A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victors Campus, with the Rev. James P. Holland, officiating.
