LT Donald L. Smith USCG(Ret.) Born in Houston, Texas 23 Year Military Career in USN and USCG. Four Tours in Viet Nam from 1965 through 1971. Other hobbies: Reloading, Pistol competition. 
  
Served on: USS ENTERPRISE CVAN 65 1965-1971; USS CALIFORNIA, DLGN 36 1971-1972; USCG GALLATIN WHEC 721 (1977-1979) Ratings Held: IC1 USN, EMC USCG, CWO3 USCG, LT USCG. 
  
Upon retirement from the USCG I went to work for EG&G ReeCo at the nuclear test site in Mercur, NV. After a year there I was hired by EG&G Defense Materials at Tooele, UT to accept the position as the Chief Quality Engineer. After completion of the Nerve Gas incinerator I was assigned as the Chief Oversite Officer for the company. In March of 2006 I became disabled and was put on full disablity retirement where I remain today.
