He leaves behind his loving wife, Marilyn, a daughter and a son, and friends of Bill W. for many years. Born in Oakland, September 22, 1934, educated at Wildwood Elementary, Piedmont High School, University of California at Berkeley and Santa Clara University. In service: U.S. Coast Guard, Amateur Radio and long time member of Richmond Yacht Club, Marine Surveyor groups SAMS and NAMS. He enjoyed sailboat racing/navigating. Early years found him teaching sailing to youngsters at the Club. He himself, as a boy, enjoyed sailing on Lake Merritt. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to Guide Dogs for the Blind, San Rafael, CA. Due to Covid, a virtual memorial will be held at a later date.
