Michael Albert Stroupe, 83, of Raleigh went to be with Jesus and his beloved wife of 59 years Dawn Davis Stroupe at sunrise on August 26, 2021. A Musical Celebration of Life will be held at Salem Baptist Church of Apex from 2-4 PM. A native of Bessemer City, NC, Mike was the son of the late Winifred & Geneva Stroupe. He was a 1955 graduate from Triton High School and a 1959 graduate of North Carolina State University. He served in the Air Force and retired as a Major from the NC Air National Guard as well as a Professional Electrical Engineer from IBM. He enjoyed Amateur Radio (K4DRT) and swam with Raleigh Area Masters. He loved the Lord and volunteered for SWAT (Servant With A Tool) Ministry.
He is survived by his 4 daughters Terri Stroupe, Heather Miner, Keira Vestal, and Greta Graham; and 6 grandchildren Toby Vestal, Zoe Vestal, Tiffany Miner, Eva Vestal, Collin Graham, and Cameron Graham.
