Chapter #1 in Cleveland was Chartered June 1, 1951,
Chapter #? in Louisville was Chartered after Cleveland and before the first QCWA News Letter in June of 1952.
Chapter #2 in Chicago was Chartered June 13, 1954.

There is no record at QCWA HQ that a chapter ever existed in any of the cities named Louisville in the US. Those are in:

I talked to Frank, W4AMJ(sk), Charter Member #13, he was on the Board of Directors in 1953. Frank has no recollection of this chapter.
I talked to Ralph, W2CVF(sk), Charter Member #23 and he doesn't remember anything about our lost chapter either.

Subject: QCWA in Louisville
I have been a member since about 1974. To the best of my recollection, there has never been a QCWA Chapter in Louisville. But I may be wrong. There may have been someone who tried to start a Chapter in 1953, but I don't think there is anyone around today who can verify this.
