Amateur Radio has provided lifelong learning experiences for me that started at the age of 13 when first licensed. Callsigns held: WN4MQW, WA4MQW, DA1QC, AD4MZ, VQ9NC, AD4MZ/VP9, AD4MZ/C6A, etc. Prefer CW but have operated other modes as well. Have operated extensively from aboard small sailboats at sea, a couple of aircraft carriers, and a P3C Orion aircraft. Sailed my Westsail 32 solo from Africa to the Carribean and back the states enjoying ham radio all the way. Enjoy combining hiking with qrp radio as well.
