Bob Josuweit, WA3PZO, served as the Public Service Columnist for CQ Amateur Radio from 2000 - 2009. Previously he wrote the public service column for CQ VHF. He also has had articles appear in Popular Communications, Conformity, 9-1-1, and QST to name a few. He also served on the ARRL Public Relations Committee for over 10 years. He was a member of ARRL's retired Public Service Advisory Committee and past chairman of the Emergency Communications Advisory Committee. He is a former Eastern Pennsylvania Section Emergency Coordinator. Currently Bob is president of the Holmesburg Amateur Radio Club in Philadelphia and is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Amateur Radio Club in Radnor,PA. Bob served as a member of the1980 Winter Olympic Torch Relay Team (Olympia, Greece to Lake Placid, NY) and was awarded an Olympic Appreciation medal for his service.
