I hope we've had the opportunity to enjoy a nice QSO!

I was first licensed in 1964 with the Novice call sign of WN9OBB. I was inactive for many years but in 1995 I was re-licensed. After the vanity program came into being I got my original call sign of WN9OBB back. After upgrading to Extra I dropped the 'N' from the call as would have happened back in the old days had I upgraded from the Novice class license.

I've always had short-wave receivers and did a lot of SWLing especially on the ham bands. So, I was never really 'away' from the hobby. Today I enjoy the hobby more than ever!

I am a software developer for "Green Bay Packagin, Inc." here in Green Bay.
