Willis Lyman "Bill" Haufman was born on December 6, 1906, in Genessee Co., Michigan. Bill was first on the air in about 1920. He had a radio service and hardware business until about 1940. He later was employed as a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office. Bill passed away on January 3, 1992, in Deckerville, Michigan. He is buried in Brookside Cemetery, Fairgrove, Michigan.
