Transmitting with a 75W crystal controlled cw transmitter on 40 meters, age 14 years.

My interest in RF amplifiers and antennas began at an early age.
This amplifier was a pair of 4-1000's in Grounded Grid for 40 meters that I built in 1963.
I'm grateful for the many mentors of that era willing to teach an enthusiastic 19 year old ham.
