Arch graduated form Colorado College after five years service as an Air Force pilot. During the next 25 years he worked for the US Automobile industry, plus assignments at the UN in Geneva for the US State Department.
A QCWA Life Memberm Arch was secretary of Chapter 76 for a decade. On the National level, he designed the current QCWA pamphlet and assisted in developing the format and content of the QCWA web page.
An avid DXer, he is a member of the DXCC Honor Roll and has operated overseas with 20 recriprocal calls. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a life member of the ARRL and a Fellow of the Radio CLub of America. He is the author of numerous published papers and articles, many concerning his investigation of Counterpoise Ground Systems. He also holds several patents.
