W4RPR Raymond P. Richard Grand Island, Fl 32735 QCWA # 35561 Chapter 45

Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan I was first licensed as KA3QEN while attending College in Pittsburgh. I changed my call to W4RPR (my initials) when I became an Extra. I am a life member of the ARRL and an active Volunteer Examiner (VE) with the League. My joy of radio has compelled me to attended 37 of the last 42 Dayton Hamventions, which has always been a source of inspiration, education, and pure fun. I became eligible and joined the QCWA about four years ago.

I am a member of the Michigan QRP Club, New England QRP, and QRP Amateur Radio Club International (QRPARCI). I was the volunteer QRPARCI Toy Store Manager for the past ten years retiring in May 2014. My responsibilities as Toy Store Manager included buying and selling club items, running the booth at the Dayton Hamvention and other regional hamfests. I designed the current QRPARCI lapel pin.
