Charles W. Peterson, age 97, passed away on Dec. 16, 2013 in Minneapolis, MN. Charlie was a former resident of Holiday Island.
Survived by son, Raymond Peterson, daughter Carol (John) Lundquist and grandson, Nick Brown.
Born in Sacred Heart, MN, graduated from Mpls. North High in 1935, U.S. Marine Corps 1941-1945, WW II Vet. Member of Bricklayers Union, AA since 1959, American Legion and VFW Posts.
He lived in New Hope, MN and retired to Eureka Springs for 15 years before returning to Mpls. in September 2012 to the Augustana Apts. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
