Friends,

Bruce struggled for a month at Eisenberg/Mayo Hospital to recover from severe lung trauma, but we brought him home on Friday and he died this morning.

Kathy Ellis

First licensed 1955. Novice, Conditional class (1955), Extra class (1958) in North Dakota as KØCNC. WØBF since 1976. PhD (EE) University of Minnesota, 1973. Retired since 2000 as EE Professor, St. Cloud State University. WAS, WAC, WAZ, DXCC (~290). I now operate mostly FM, SSB, PSK 31 and CW using simple antennas - no more serious DXing. My wife, Kathy, is WAØZZW.

Two QTH. The north central location (on Little Bass Lake between Remer and Longville) that has room for vertical and wire HF antennas and a condo in Brooklyn Park that, due to CCR restrictions is vhf / uhf only with a simple antenna. Most of my time is spent in Brooklyn Park.

The Remer QTH has an IC-756 Pro3, an ALS-600S 600W amplifier, and a MFJ 998 tuner placed remotely (in the garage) and various other pieces. The Brooklyn Park QTH has IC 208H and a (stealthy) 146/444 duoband mobile vertical.
