About Chapter 212

The first meeting of Chapter 212 was held on 9/22/03.  The following is the e-mail message describing the first meeting:

"QST,

The future Mid Ohio Chapter of the QCWA held its kickoff meeting 6:00pm Monday September 22, 2003 at the Home Town Buffet 5805 Chantry Drive Columbus Oh.  The meeting was attended by David (N4DB), Terri (WD8LQH), Tim (N8TK) & XYL, Dick (W9ZZX) & XYL, and Fritz (WD8E) & XYL.  Several topics were discussed and decided including 1) the chapter name will be Mid Ohio Chapter, 2) Fritz WD8E will be president and Terri WD8LQH will be secretary, 3) Terri WD8LQH will submit the petition for charter to the national business office, 4) no dues will be collected at this time, 5) the chapter will have 12 meeting per year at various locations, 6) the next meeting will be 2:00 p.m. October 19 at the QTH of Fritz and Billie, 1010 Blacks Rd SE, Hebron OH 43025, 7) each member will invite eligible amateurs to the next meeting, and 8) any eligible amateur enrolled in the Mid Ohio chapter on or before December 31, 2003 will be a charter member.  The meeting adjourned 8:15pm.
