Hendersonville, NC

QCWA # 32906

I am in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. I am originally from the Bay State (Massachusetts) and moved here in 2006 with my XYL. I am a member of the ARRL, QCWA, QRP-ARCI, CW FISTS, Flying Pigs QRP Club, New England QRP Club, G-QRP, NAQCC, INDEXA, SKCC, AWA, Morse Telegraph Club and Telephone Pioneers. I enjoy CW both DX & QRP and PSK31. I recently got back into QRP after an absence of 20 years and have been enjoying making CW QRP contacts with my Ten Tec Argonaut VI. I also have a Kenwood TS-140S and TS-850S that I operate CW QRO when the bands don't cooperate.

I have used Vibroplex bugs and paddle for many years but purchased a Begali Pearl paddle for my 64th birthday - what a wonderful mechanism - it is like an extension of my fingers, making CW all the more enjoyable. Che bellezza!

I have WAC, WAS, DXCC CW and VUCC Satellite. I am still working for AT&T in their tech support department and have been with them and associated Bell Companies (New England Telephone, South Central Bell & AT&T Long Lines) for over 43 years. Former calls: WB4SMV from 1976 - 1981, N1BXC from 1981-1988
