Hello. I have been a ham since 1992. My favorite mode of operation is CW. My family and friends refer to me as a CW snob although I do own and occassionally use an autographed Heil PR-781 pictured above. Hey, when I opetate phone I want it to sound great! Currently my favorite paddles are my Mercury Paddles by Bencher, they are like driving a sports car. My rig is a loaded FT 2000D. I also enjoy portable operations. My friends Jeff WD0GTY, Jim WB0ZWW and I enjoy operating Field Day together under the "club" name Salted Hams Club at the Great Salt Plains in northern Oklahoma.

I log contests and general contacts using N3FJP logging software. I am currently working towards DXCC in LoTW. It took me a while to get that bug. LoTW makes the process easier. I am also currently enjoying the ARRL Centennial Challenge activities.
