Although I have only been licensed since 1988, my interest in communications began in the 1960's when a homebrew SW receiver introduced me to short wave listening. After 2 decades as an SWL, I finally made the leap intoAmateur Radio and have never looked back. I have a variety of Amateur Radio interests including CW operation, VHF/UHF weak signal operation, 160m operation, design and construction of antennas, kit building, DX'ing and contesting. I also can be found from time to time on the OMISS and 3905 Century Club nets. I am active on all bands from 160m to 23cm. If you need a QSO with SC or grid locator EM94, please contact me to set up a sked. May 26, 2016 |
