John M. Robertson, 91, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away June 7, 2007, at Centerpointe Medical Center in Independence, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007, from 10:30 to 11:30am at Webb-Freer Funeral Home, with funeral services starting at 11:30am. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, KS.

John was a member of the United Methodist Church in Warsaw, MO, and an Army veteran of WWII. He was a Ham Radio operator, a watchmaker and jeweler, an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of the school board, and a firearms collector. He also loved to tell old stories and was a dedicated husband for 66 and a half years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, and by his wife Sibyl on January 22, 2005, and by twin grandsons. Survivors include his sons John Richard (Marj) Robertson, Stover, MO; and David L. (Beverly) Robertson, Gladstone, MO; daughter Carol A. (Curt) George, Blue Springs, MO; 10 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
