George Lockwood, KD8RJ ex WA8HRA became a silent key on Saturday Jan 30. He succumbed to a bout with pneumonia at age 76.
He was an EE and inventor with some 15 patents. Among those the invention of a "memory cell", a non volatile memory (not dependent on being "plugged in").
