Ed went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2011, at the age of 95, and his wife Verna Cutler preceded him in death.

He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II as a radio operator where he found his passion for 'Ham' radio and electronics. He traveled many places in the world and often showed his video's. His favorite place was the Holy Land. He was the owner of Cutler TV & Appliance and loved to repair TV's. He was a friend to all he met and especially loved talking to people all over the world on his 'Ham' radio. He will be missed by many.

He leaves behind a son, Edward J. Cutler, Jr. and his wife Rosemarie; daughters, Constance Cutler, and Cynthia Doyle and her husband Allen. He has six grandchildren, Charlene, Bryan, Lisa, Aaron, Becky and Christopher; along with six wonderful great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11:00 a.m.


Ed was first licensed in 1933 with the call W6IMK. He returned to Amateur Radio with the call KC6LPL. He earned DXCC operating mobile. He was a member of Chapter 213.
