On December 27, 2006, K9AMC, my life-long friend, encourager, and fellow ham became a Silent Key. Kris was a lifetime member of QCWA. From the time I was perhaps 12 years old, Kris never failed to greet me with these words: "Hello, neighbor! Did you get your ticket?" Fifty year later, I was able to call him on the phone and tell him, "Yes neighbor, I got my ticket...and a General at that!
