QSL Manager for K7UGA. --- ALL QSL REQUESTS FOR K7UGA GO TO: K7BHM

I was first licensed in 1957 (KN7BHM) at the age of 13 (8th grade), in Phoenix, Arizona. I upgraded through Technician, General, Advanced and received my EXTRA Class (20 WPM) in 1982. I attanded High School at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, and graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ, with a BS in Mathematics, in 1966. I also received an M.Ed. from Arizona State University in 1995. I retired in 2008 with over 40 years in the Electronics and Aerospace Industries in the greater Phoenix area. Most recent career was with Orbital Sciences LSG in Chandler, AZ, as a Principal Mechanical Engineeer.

I am a charter member of the Central Arizona DX Association, founded in 1975, and a life member of the QCWA, and hold memberships with the SADXA, AOCC and ARRL. My involvement with amateur radio includes being the Chair of the 2004 ARRL Southwestern Division Convention held in Phoenix, and have been the Program Chair for the International DX Convention, held in Visalia, CA, for 8 of the past 10 years (2004-2015). I'm married to my wife Gerri for 49 years and have 3 children and 7 grandchildren; (unfortunately none are hams).

My current station consists of an IC-756PRO, TS-480HX, Ameritron AL800 amp for 10-160 meters. My antennas consist of a TH7DXX at 52 ft, 4 elements on 6 Meters at 62 ft. and rotatable dipoles for 30, 17, and 12 meters at 58 ft. Also, fixed dipoles for 160, 80 and 40 Meters with apex at 50 ft.

I've been chasing DX nearly all of my amateur life and I'm currently on the Honor Roll with 338/353 mixed totals. (Need 3Y/Bouvet and P5/No. Korea).

I hope to see you on the air soon.
