K4OBL Stephen G. 'Steve' Rossi Palm Bay, FL QCWA # 37443 Chapter 48

Steve was born in Boston but moved to Florida's Space Coast in 1978. His first call, Novice call KN1OBL he got at age 13 in 1960. He went inactive for a while and regained his license when he got out of the service ... as WA1WGS. His QTH at that time was Cape Cod. He petitioned the FCC and got his old call back, minus the N... now K1OBL. Active mostly SSB with some CW on HF, Steve enjoys DX, certificate chasing, 2M SSB and 6 meters! He has restored 2 classic 1962 Chevys that he still owns ... an Impala and a Monza. He is a member of ARRL, The QCWA, The American Legion, The Masons, Florida Beef Cattleman's Association, Sons Of Italy and more. A semi retired, self employed financial planner, Steve is active in local charity work as well.
