Chapter 24

I was first licensed while at college 1966 and received my novice call of WN4EWW as I was attending Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC at the time. I later received my General ticket after returning to Maine in the late '60's and was licensed as WA1YQM. My wife (Vicki) received her General ticket and received her first call of KA1NBC. Together we went for our Advanced and then on to the Extra at which time I choose the vanity call which I now hold of K1NAJ.

My equipment consist of a YAESU FT 950 as my primary rig with a Kenwood TS 440S as a backup. I am also using an Yaesu FT-817 for my QRP work. Antennas are an OCF Dipole 80-10 Meters, 40M OCF Dipole and a 30M Dipole. I have recently started a few small QRP rigs (Rockmite 20 and 80). I work mostly CW but enjoy an occassional SSB ragchew.

I am the Pastor of the Norway Baptist Church in Norway, Maine and have been in the ministry for the past 46 years.

My interest in Ham Radio has given me many hours of enjoyment and I look forward to working you on air.
