I started in Ham Radio in 1975 in the Chicago, Ill aera. My firest Call was WD9CIB. I am the Past President of the Chicago Suburban Radio Assoction I also was the thery insturctor for the CSRA sponsored Novice classes, along with Cordy N9WD. I am so glad that N9WD and I had the opportunity to give back to Aateur Radio what it has given us .I moved to the El Paso, Texas aera in 1994 and live in a town 2miles out from El Paso called Horizon City, Texas. we are about 2.5 miles from the boder of Mexico.

I use a Kenwood TS-950SDX Transceiver and a Yaesu FT-950 as Backup and Yaesu FL-2100B AMP, Amtennas Ground Mounted Vertical hy-gain 18VAQ II or a Swiss Dipole or 40meter inverted V up 25ft. ALso have Yaesu FT620B for 6M and a Kenwood TS700S for 2M and Yaesu 901DM and Yaesu FT101E.
